Our Story
We started TapTap because we were frustrated. Frustrated that buying a decent smartphone in Australia meant either signing up for an expensive plan or paying close to a thousand dollars upfront.
We looked at what most people actually use their phones for — calls, messaging, photos, social media, browsing, streaming — and asked a simple question: why does that need to cost so much?
The answer? It doesn't. So we're building Tap 1. A phone with a brilliant 6.72" display, a capable 50MP camera, a battery that lasts up to two days, and 128GB of storage. All for $120.
